New event in Japan

Items was locked china and korea. So event for others server just started with japan 1st . So isnt exclusiv japan . We should getting them soon JP -> NA -> EU

China and Korea are separate servers entirely, though. Treating different regions unfairly is much ruder when the other players can see people enjoying these items already based on the region of their account alone. The EU players who were effectively backstabbed last time by the disorganised announcements have been putting up with that for a long time at this point.

As I have said before, for EU skip the event and put the items straight into the Mog Station, EU players will be happy and not be screwed over this time.

As I explained to you before (and was ignored, I note), this deal has nothing to do with individual countries and their laws and everything to do with commercial partnerships arranged by Square-Enix. Please don't spread ignorance. If people in other countries can buy stuff from Mog Station or the S-E store, S-E have ways to accommodate them with maid outfits. You're thinking of competition/sweepstake laws which are a completely different thing.

you do realize that each country has various laws on contests promotion and practices. SE explained it the first time around.

You took a high school business class. I live in Europe. Please stop mansplaining my own country's laws to me and provide a citation for the anecdote you reference, because nothing I have ever seen on the topic of the 7-Eleven promotion in Japan has said anything other than that it was a commercial deal which was being rolled out, not a contest. The Mog Station and S-E store options already exist for people in these other countries, as is clear from the fact that people living there can buy from the Mog Station and take part in time-limited sales and offers there. S-E Europe simply dropped the ball. Hard.

Should... but there's been no word on that at all, outside of announcing the cloud mount and items as a JP exclusive despite how the promotion went for the rest of the world last time. (Even the NA Amazon one forced people to jump through hoops if their address wasn't in the US.) I doubt this is going to go as easily as everyone makes it sound.

Right now, the assertion that SE are planning to start the event in japan and then bring it to NA and EU later is an assumption at best. SE have said nothing about doing that. And that lack of communication is only the tip of the iceberg because even if it is brought to us, someone is still getting left out. The lack of communication just shows me that there may be mistakes that weren't learned from last time.

Why do I feel like if America or the UK had an event that gave us exclusive items you guys would not complain at all.

Probably because so far JP gets stuff first all the time instead of promotions being run globally?

I was just saying . Because its what happened with maid outfit about NA first then when it finish EU one started few month later so i guess it will be JP after NA then EU.

After SE can do NA and EU in sametimes. I dont know how they will plan their promo this time.

It's just my main gripe, that communication is so limited. We technically don't know, the only thing we've got to go on is what happened last year, so people are just parroting last year's event schedule back again as if these things aren't subject to change. All I can say is that I hope you're right, I'm just not taking it as fact right now.

You'd think that after last year, there's at least be an attempt to synchronize the events closer together and/or at least let us know what to expect.
