Retainers inside Apartment/House, Design Our Mender/Supplier/Melder + Dungeon Explore

Hello,

So I've been kind of working on my retainers and redesigned them as I like, but I've noticed how the supplier/mender permits randomly generate the NPCs and most of them look actually ugly and quite disappointing. I've used them several times too until I was able to get some what satisfying.

However, I've also noticed that retainers can't be inside the house like standing NPCs or sitting NPCs in an empty bench or empty house/apartment and that kind of is disappointing. I really do hope that developers might give more of these options in Stormblood if possible since that'd actually give more design options to make your housing lively.

Also like how you did Grand Company Squad mission, instead of sending your auto generated GC squad - have your retainers party up and send them to dungeon exploration and find dungeon gears/items for you, for a good amount of Venture coins. (Untradable)

Thoughts? Agreements? Disagreements?

The vendor npcs are not randomly generated. Each permit-type has a set appearance for every race/gender combo. I like some of your ideas though. It would be nice if retainers had some more functionality, other than ventures.

The retainers inside thing comes up a lot on the housing forum pages too, and I completely agree that it would be nice to have the option of them inside or outside.

If anything, they should also consider having Retainers take over the other NPC permit's job if they are going to stand inside too! Like the retainers gotten quite boring since I don't think many do use their retainers besides selling items, venturing simple exploration and hold items for you. It'd be pretty cool if they did something like GC squads interact with each other inside your personal apartment or house, or even repair your gears or sell material supplies or meld materia for you if you don't have more than two retainers and need to apply additional housing NPCs.

i very much would like if i could put my retainer inside my fc house, and have 1 inside my apartment. imo they should do away with the the size limit on how many npc you can place.
