They Should Allow Old Seasonal PvP Rewards To Be Obtainable By Any Top 100/30 Voucher

They should allow old and current seasonal pvp rewards to be obtainable by top 100/30/10 vouchers from any season. They could have Solo vouchers and Light Party vouchers and keep the rewards separate to each type of voucher. One reward for one voucher.

So like if in season 4 you get top 100 solo or top 30 light party or top 10 in either you can get any one seasonal reward from any season but only one per voucher from the current season or older.

Basically a list of rewards that keep getting added too each season and you just use the voucher from top 100/30/10 for whichever one you want in case you don't like the reward for that season and allows people to get what they want from older seasons. Not including achievements, titles, or trophies as they would stay as they are for placement.

Also that would keep people pvping for seasons that they wouldn't have because of rewards they don't like. Better for everyone.

You're joking right? Also you still have to get top 100 or top 30 for a season so how would you not deserve it?
Btw, I did get season 3 top 30 Light party and Pack Hellhound but barely missed solo top 100 due to the crazyness of dark week and all the throwers/underrated alts/randomness slot machine teams you get. Mostly bad luck. I've also been top 100 solo in season 1. Didn't bother with season 2 as I didn't care about the prizes.

Sarcastically, Magic is saying if you don't compete for that season's reward, you don't deserve it. And not-sarcastically, I have to agree.

Don't get me wrong, I understand things happen and perhaps someone gets knocked out of the ranks - fair or not - or life happens and you have to bow out (personally, I made it into the rankings for the first time in S2, but health reasons made me stop, time reasons prevented me from staying competitive in both S2 and 3 after that), but I accept that I just won't get those rewards, and I'm fine with it. Were I going to actually compete in Season 4, I would do so fully focused on Season 4's prize, and not worry about Season 3 or anything prior.

No thanks, I'd rather keep the exclusivity of the rewards. This token system would blur the meaning behind the rewards, and there's so little exclusive gear in the game (especially that displays a level of skill) that I think it should stay the way it is. To me, this is no different than making the housing trophy obtainable by anyone with enough time to squeeze into the 100th slot (or better). There's a whole lot of difference between the skill level of the #1 slot, and the #100 slot.

The existing rewards system is fine, let their be some kind of "awe" left in the game, everything is already so casual as it is.

Well let's just say we don't agree with how rewards should be handled then, there is a better way and just because something is, doesn't mean it can't be improved. I see no good reason that rewards this way wouldn't be better overall. You still have to place in top 100/30 and spots are limited so exclusivity still exist the same if not even more for new rewards as there would be less of them at the end of each season because some might choose older rewards. It isn't begging as much as I just really disagree with this style of rewards period and have for sometime even before season 3. These forums are for trying to let SE know our ideas to improve the game and that's what I'm doing.

This still doesn't address the fact that you created the same topic over the weekend, nor does it address the bad sportsmanship inherent to clawing at others' winnings.

Rewards aren't exclusive if you can go back and grab them. Right now there's a limited window to obtain them, which generates hype surrounding the competition. Hype is great for any competition, as it draws in more players, builds tension and makes winning that much better. Season rewards are also identifying markers for the players that obtain them, you can see what they have and know exactly what season and mode they were successful. To be able to reach back and cherry-pick a reward, it blurs that distinction.

It's still exclusive because of number of top spots and the length of seasons aka time and you still have to get in the top for any season. Not everyone thinks your way, just as not everyone thinks my way. Why do you think people won't be just as hyped if not more for getting rewards they really want and more people playing every season, as in choice. More people queuing up sounds good to me, less waiting for pops and more interested in playing pvp which is what SE seems to want. Most will pick the new rewards anyway just because it is "new" and all that matters is that you got top whatever, it shouldn't matter which season.
