You guys are just saying its fine, ok, don't mind it. How could we make that into, WOW BEST THING EVER!~?

Well this is the claim system...
I think there's a limit to how excited to be about something so... I dunno...
Utilitarian.
It's like saying: Electric company BEST THING EVER.
Like the claiming system is great because it doesn't annoy me. I can work with it without it getting in the way. It works cause I dont' notice it works.

Not a fan of some of the current aspects of the current system. The fact that anyone, be it 1 or 1,000,000 players, can attack any mob you are fighting limits a lot of open world content, which, in turn, makes the fight less strategic and more of a zerg. It seems yoshi-p had more PL and instances in mind and nothing related to open world content when designing the system. Furthermore, he needs to get out of this mindset that everyone wants to only do content with low manned groups. There are plenty of linkshells with more that 8 members that want to do content together, but cannot do most of it since the pt member cap is 8. An alliance/raid group system would solve many issues with future content.
YoshiP didn't design this system. This system is a conglomeration of previous tried and true ideas. IT doesn't limit any content in the open world, other things might. Even though technically a lot of players can get together and zerg, I don't see where this happens. Even in the case of Open world strongholds, Multi-party setups will be confusing and hectic failures if everyone ran in swinging. We still needed strategies.
I'm not sure what the party cap has to do with the claim system.

Party limit does not have anything to do with the claiming system, ill give you that. Even if yoshi didn't design the system, he ok'd to use it. IT does limit future content since you can just cure spam and zerg stuff down, can even do it with the current strongholds. It negates the use of strategy in favor of zerging. Without a limit on how many and/or who can attack a mob, you can basically zerg anything with enough ppl, and certain mob abilities cannot be used since anyone might activate them.YoshiP didn't design this system. i think its fine..

The things I hope for it have already been stated as something they are working on, so I can't think of anything.
I just honestly can't wait for an alliance system, and something worth needing an alliance in order to fight.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.

Current system seems fine to me. No complaints here!
I will have to agree with splice. For one, I'm an open world lover :P.Two! I think if they kept the system with NORMAL mobs then made it where NMs you can only have one party/person fighting it.

sure you dont mean the loot system?
claim system is fine
