What would work out well for NZ Players is for the Data Center to be located in Australia. I think there's a few of them out there.
If I had to guess I think they might put them somewhere in the Central US.
Right. So, migrating to a new data center is an incredible undertaking by technicians at the DC and SE as a whole. Being in North America, you need to look at availability zones. You have, East Coast, Central, Southern, and West Coast. Depending on what node the traffic will be going through from the ISP to the server can find traffic in the lanes of the network. There could also be a DR Site being created too which is usually in another availability zone. We'll have to test the ping times once the data center move is complete.
any news about spanish location [traslation] , with this new servers ,
alguna novedad sobre localizacion para espanol [latinoamerica] [espana]????
We do not know where they are being moved to. Currently the servers are located in Montreal Canada. Any location further south should improve the ping for Latin America. It is likely your ping will stay the same or improve. Europe, Pacific Islands, and Oceania are more likely to have a noticeable impact.

Thank you so much! Now can we please do something about NA Customer support? They are the worst people to ever deal with over the phone. Worst experience i hve ever had with customer support. Very rude and hateful.
Anyone in the UK that can work out pings in worts case escenario please. I want to understand how it might hit me. I been in ultros for over 3 years and i don't wanna transfer anywhere else.
Fellow European here! You likely play with 120~ ping right now, worst case scenario it will hit 200~ and you may have to run from AoEs in advance.
Best case scenario it will hit 160 for you (currently 160~ for me) , it's perfectly playable and enjoyable all the way through endgame content.
I've been on Malboro for 2 years and really don't want to move either.![]()
I am from germany and i just ran a test for servers located in LA... The average ping was 210+ while the ping right now to Goblin is ~101. A move to the west coast would double up my ping and would be a reason to quit the game. I hope they'll offer some kind of transfers to the EU data center when this happens. I don't wanna lose my house AND all my money to play with normal reactions.Fellow European here! At least you have a DC in Europe. Australians have had to live with 200+ pings all along. At my end, at the WESTERN end of Australia, it's almost 400ms to Siren. With Battleping, I can get it down to about ~330 on a good day. Most end-game instances are virtually unplayable with that lag. I only bother to ever unlock them once when they're required, then never play them again because it'll just cause grief to others who have to support me.I am from germany and i just ran a test for servers located in LA...
