    I think it's very important that the servers be moved to Saskatchewan. Or wherever I happen to be living.

    I like the picture of all the pretty wires and computery things. There seems to be room for a bed and a ps4 in there.. what's rent?

    It really doesn't matter if SE tells the players where the server is or not, they will most likely find out within a few hours of it going live lol. And if the latency is really going to increase even further if you are further away from the datacentre, then SE really needs to get their priorities straight.

    They know their math. They could give zero compensation for a relocation like this.

    Instead since this is outside a normal scope of 24hrs, they are compensating for 1 day.

    Aussies have been getting the short end of the stick for a long time. Our SE store only has digital items for purchase, for one.

    And if we can know BEFORE the move, at least we can transfer our characters to the Japanese DCs and make friends there as soon as possible.

    But the whole 48 hours thing is a MAXIMUM, not necessarily taking 24 hours extra.

    I'm already on a jp server, i would just love to be on english speaking server with actual decent latency. I currently get around 225 or so latency with wtfast. If that is going to get worse, then i dont think i am even going to bother touching the US servers anymore lol.
