I really don't understand how the South Americans get a worse ping. (Aside from its Eastern side perhaps). Because now it's further south from its origination and further west. Should be some better pings going on.

Ah well not that it matters to me. My pings got extremely better. From 200+ now down to 50-100.

Routing. According to reports some of the routing is going to Europe, before coming to the US.

My friend from Brazil mentioned that on her tracert, it's going from BR > Mexico > Miami > Virginia > Seattle > California

That's pretty bad considering it could just simply go from Mexico to Texas, to California.

Its because the biggest and most used cable that connect Brazil to USA and EU goes out from the Northeast through the atlantic to Miami and NY, so most SA traffic pass through this cable and from those states goes elsewhere. They completely ignored South America. Most of the people im talking about this had an increase of at least 80% on their ping. Mine went from 100 to 220 =.= and my city is the one that have the cabble i talked about. As you can see here: http://www.submarinecablemap.com

What I would like from SE is to allow EU base player to move out of NA servers for free and with no Gil restrictions before expansion.

We cannot ask them to move somewhere else no matter how hard we try. The move is done.

yep, the best i got for short moments was around 215. usually now going around 260.
will SE give us some feedback about improvement or thats it? i bought stormblood way back, and now i wont play it if my ping stays like this. i want a refund.

Under my humble opinion the main issue here are EU players on NA server.

I think if SE said something like free transfer + no restriction on Gil for the next 7 days. A lot of people would of been happier and that not only includes myself.

I just hope they say something reasonable for us.
