Impossible Quests

I just looked you up on the lodestone, in case I'd find something to help with. As it turns out, there is something I can point out that could help. You are a level 46 black mage, but *not* wearing the level 45 equipment given by the level 45 job quest. That equipment will help you a lot as it's by far the best equipment you can have at that level. I strongly suggest that you do your level 45 BLM job quest as soon as you can.

Whatever job your using watch specifically for when cid mentions watch iut for the magitek laser/canon I can't remember the dialogue specifically but if you mess that mechanic up it wipes you. If I remember correctly the magitek targets and you have to move very quickly towards cid. I only recall because I failed it several times even having the lvl 45 i90 class quest gear.
