Why are summoners so neglected?

I didn't read every post because...

For the love of F**king god enough of these threads already. Does Summoner have some issues, yes, but they aren't as bad as, the fricken loud vocal MINORITY, is making it out to be. Should we have gotten more egis, yes, is SE trying to maintain balance and make the Summoner job that feels both familiar and fresh, yes, will we hopefully get a nice rework when Stormblood releases, maybe. But, for the love of god, if all you are going to do is bitch and moan, then either don't play Summoner or don't play the game at all. I'm not saying you can find fault with the job, I even find faults, and have expressed them, but I am tired of seeing; "split SCH/SMN already" "the devs don't know what they are doing" "it's not a real Summoner" you whiney babies have just gotten use the recent flashiness of the more modern games. Summoners back in the old games were just as "boring" as they are now. And for those of you with "Rose-tinted Glasses" about the "nostalgia" that is XI, fricken take them off already, because I asked around and hey guess what, "IT WAS THE SAME FRICKEN THING AS XIV's" the main difference being the pet was bigger, that is all. So before you post on any more of these, "I want a True Summoner job" threads, pull your head out of your ass first.

Oh and for those of you who posted here but had legitimate reasons to find fault with the job, I apologies, this post is not aimed at you. I am just annoyed right now at other things, and seeing another one of these stupid threads set me off.

What counts as a viable concern: Egi viability, Egi variety, Aethertrail stack management, useless/unused skills
What does not count: Larger Egis (they gave a legitimate reason so shut up), SCH/SMN split, not being a "true" Summoner, the "flashiness" of the job.
