Why are summoners so neglected?

Are you talking about the one-and-only job out of 13 in FFXIV that got exclusive, special treatment in the form of a totally new feature that allows the user to glamour pets anytime they want to anything they want and will continue to get special attention from the Devs to get more glamours like Sephirot and Ramuh overtime? : O

Yeah, that job! The one that was promised Ramuh and Leviathan three years ago, remember it? Can you imagine, a summoner getting new summoning spells in a MMO expansion pack?

But instead of those, we got a feature that's so polished that Carbuncles learned how to shoot stones and poop fire in a jerky manner. Isn't it amazing? And, get a load of this: it took over one year after the expansion released, and still no sight of Ramuh and Leviathan! We're truly privileged!

Yeah, he means the class that forcefully got their "Summons" overwritten with the Egis, when leveling up despite the "New" summons being a carbon copy of the old Carby but with SLIGHTLY higher potency.

People aren't asking for that though, having a higher focus on pets doesn't means that you just stand back and watch.

To be fair I thought you were referring to the poster as a copy paster. That's why I referred to it as the "Deathflare post".

Well what do you want then? What do you want that will successfully blend with FFXIV's SMN? From what I can tell, you want pets to mostly dominate the focus of the SMN with the actual SMN not doing much. How can you get that concept to blend into our SMN without an entire overhaul?

Weren't part of those stats from people that just had the job leveled? And since leveling SCH to 60 also levels SMN it's a bit...skewed?

Don't forget you have to unlock SMN first! Leveling a SCH to 60 will make your SMN to 60 if you actually unlocked SMN.

Have you even played Summoner past 50?

No Summoner does nothing but watch dots tick and use ruin. You constantly use your aetherflow to go into dreadwyrm trance every minute.
