    The best thing would be to make sure that both your Intel and Nvidia drivers are up-to-date, and then configure the Nvidia control panel to use "High-performance Nvidia processor" for FFXIV, like I mentioned in my previous post. I've seen cases where the switchable graphics don't work properly unless both drivers are updated.

    Then check what your actual screen resolution is - gaming at 4k is tough even for fullsized desktops and really isn't something you want to be doing on a laptop with switchable graphics. At the very least, turn the in-game resolution down to 1920x1080 when you've figured out how to force the game onto the Nvidia GPU through the control panel. Check under "Manage 3D settings", go to the "Program Settings" tab and add ffxiv_dx11.exe and ffxiv.exe to the list, while making sure that they use "High-performance Nvidia processor", like this:
