Item sorting question!!

After about an hour of searching various forums and tinkering with macros I am still not able to get the exact result I am looking for.
Is it possible to sort items so that items from the same job are all together?
I was only able to get them to sort by equipment slot which does not help when you have so much gear to sift through.
Mainly looking for retainer and armory macros.

I think the closest you can do to sorting by job is sorting by main stat., which will group all your Lv50+ gear by role, unless that role is tank. Sub50 gear is typically statted for multiple roles, so it won't do much good there, and all left side gear have vitality whether they're for tank or not.
