If nobody else is interested in starting a linkshell info topic, I wouldn't mind starting one when I have free moments away from Pokemon Black (usually these moments are created by rage while trying to hunt down a good pokemon and being unsuccessful =/).

been workin on my terrible Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 skills. Finally got a perfect online... using the cheesiest combination of characters i could come up with.

Also; WHY DOES EVERYONE CROWD UL'DAH? Limsa and Gridania are nice places to hang out too. Or they would be, if, y'know, people bothered to go. The only place to go for a really good behest is camp Horizon or any of the higher level desert camps on this server. I'm starting to get really, really tired of this desert background guys...

I wonder if all server's make Ul'dah their de facto center of commerce.

For me, I just really prefer the layout of Ul'dah compared to the other two cities. Easier to get around and the market wards are easy to get to as well.

When I played the beta, I started in Limsa since that was the thing to do. I decided to start a character at all the cities and I really fell for the curious storyline of Uldah and made it my starting city. I have no idea why it's become the most popular city, but it's probably due to our low population. I remember when the game first came out officially, Limsa was so packed with people that I renamed it Lag Limsa. Grid used to have so many people in front of the adventure guild with their bazaars it was hard to get inside without lagging out!

Anyway... the linkshell info topic meant a Linkshell List that people could refer to when they start on this server. It would list all active linkshells and people could decide which one fits them best and contact them in game. We have a great selection of linkshells on our otherwise quaint and small populated server, so I thought it would be nice to get a list up for them.

Because Uldah has the best battlecraft leves and previously Uldah region was the home of soloable mobs (doblyns and coblyns). Crafters set up shop where most of their consumers (DoW/DoM) are and gatherers follow suit because crafters need their raw materials.

Either that or everyone has shitty gpus and can't handle the shrubs and foliage of other regions.

Also to add Ul'Dah is the center of the map so you can get to LL and Grind walking without wasteing a lot of anima.

So people set up shop there and travel by walking . Now if we had chocobos and the airship was in service im sure people would stay within there home area more. Until Ish is open then that will be the new hub of action ( sorta like jeuno or WG in 11)

I also wondered why Ul'dah was the defacto centre of our world, my best guess is the markets being so close to the crystal. really is kinda convinient.

I can't wait to finally see what companies will provide in the game! I'm surprised a letter about development of the game came out so soon. I really appreciate what Yoshi-P and his guys are doing for this game.
