From an LS Member who have troubles to connect to the forum:

. When you want to do better, you might do worse

I think it might be a good thing to temporary transfer the less-populated server's characters to
more populated ones, so everyone could enjoy the game at its fullest, all the time.
Plus, the market system would certainly gain from it, with more supplies and purchases.

.By doing so, Square Enix would also effectively cut its operating/maintenance/power consumption/personnel costs,
so everyone, player or SE would gain from it.

.Last but not least, it would be fairer to use actual currency change values, because there's no way 1€=1$.
So that for 1 month (when full monthly fees will be on), supposedly to be 12.99$, European players would actually pay 17.5$ !!!!
Please be aware of that fact, if you don't want to lose some players.
The game isn't complete yet, you want to bill us at an unfair price, BREAKING THE PROMISE THAT THE GAME WILL STAY FREE UNTIL THE PS3 RELEASE.
Might it be that the greed for money actually outpower the legendary japanese sense of honor???
Shame on Square-Enix, it shouldn't be up to the clients/players to pay for the past mistakes.


.I do think it's worth consideration, at least one time see us not just as players, but as customers who pay for a service.

They only stated they will bill when they feel the game is ready, which is pretty subjective. They never promised that it will be until PS3 release.

I have to personnaly say i'm not ok with all of my friend's suggestions, but the server merge can't hurt, that's why it's on SE schedule i guess ^^, with a new server network.

As for the billing side, i'm ok, as my thoughts are the game is/will be in good shape at that time, after 1.20. I'm just sorry new players will have their DoW or DoM 50 so quickly that they already think they've completed the game (which is not true obv. , but leveling your main, dear class up is a powerful engine), and won't be willing to pay after that.
That'll be imho the weakest feature of an healthy not-free game.

Don't you think the US fees are especially low tho? I mean, it's about the same for every other country compared to other MMOs, but US got a discount (-2$ compared to most MMOs), which is great for americans of course, but it just makes ppl react, which is natural.
