Lag/Constant Disconnects after 3.55b

Hi there, Since I updated to patch 3.55b today 03/09/2017 I have been only able to stay logged in without being disconnected for a few minutes.

This problem has been recurring ALL day.
I get different error codes from [90002] to [90001] and [90006].

Things I have tried;

Restarting router
Restarting PC
Forwarding necessary Ports on my router

It's getting to the point where I can't even touch my daily duty roulettes or check on my retainer without being kicked off the game.

I would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light as to why this is happening to me and if there is a possible fix.

the 280 weapons killed the servers. Joking aside.... I had this issue only once in patch 3.4 and I changed dns and it worked. Never been kicked off the game like that though... just off the patch launcher.

This has been happening to me all day as well. I have also tried the above mentioned steps and am continuing to be disconnected. My tests also show that the disconnect is not on my end. Other applications continue to run when the game disconnects.

Same issues here, fresh restarts. Even touching for a retainer will cause a 10-20 sec lag of game not responding before syncs back up. Yet chat works fine.

Its bad when I go in raids and then miss some parts of the battle cause I am fighting the lag sync, or I just get DCed.

I am having the same problems. Constantly "red dot of death" next to my name. My healing arrives seconds later. Sometimes bringing up the conversation windows at the Grand Company or my retainers takes up to 10 seconds. Never had an issue before and every other game/website runs fine and fast without lags.

Hello, I've got the same issue since two days now. Many freeze for 2/3sec . So frustrating

Been having the same issue. I've tried everything I can think of on my end; resetting my router, my IP, reinstalling the game, even reinstalling my graphic drivers since they updated around the same time.

Same issue, getting disconnected since this morning in a 2-5 minute duration. Really annoying.

Same here, for two days now I get disconnected ever-so-often, and logging in again takes forever, server telling me I am still logged in for waaaay longer than normal.

Definitely nothing on my side / ISP side, everything else is working 100% fine, just FFXIV being almost unplayable.

I hope this gets fixed soon, the maintenance today definitely didn't do a thing about this for me

Experiencing similar things. Mostly runs fine, but after 5-10 min of play, suddenly a lag spike come. (3-4 sec long mostly)
I lost some fights because of this in PVP. In harder PVE content is not feel good either.

I tried similiar things like others to solve this, but its not worked. Its not unplayable or anything, more like a annoying problem.
