    Entering Mid-Core, my experience.

    Hi,
I did my first Extreme Primal last night, BisEx. My friend and I DFd first as WAR/DRK so we had the swaps between us. The run flopped, big time. Low Deeps, undergeared SCH.
Vote Abandoned and my friend said "Well Cross world PF Khloe, with bonus."
    Anxiety triggered, I agreed.
Filled up super quick, with friendly folks.
My friend said "Keep your Rots clean, these are serious players." No pressure I thought :/
Guess who voked the first add as it spawned, this WAR right here, cringing, we wipe as Prov was on cooldown. Im called out immediately. I own up and apologise. Everyones cool, cept one.
I keep it together this time and the party destroys Bis in minutes.
The level of dps and hps was. Incredible. Coordination, Pinpoint.
I want to be better and the run I had last night has given me the thirst to do so. Theres no doubt the skill gap is real between players.
I for one will be pushing my self to be a better WAR.

    See you in Savage :3

And I wish there were more players with that kind of attitude.

    Good luck to you!

It takes time to learn extreme primals. You don't go into one for the first time and immediately do good.

The difference between casual and midcore content is midcore content takes days to learn and get down before you're comfortable with it. Sometimes it takes people weeks before they get a clear. Casual content is designed so you can one shot it with ease without knowing anything about it. You have to actually learn and study the fight for midcore. That's what makes it midcore. Deaths, wipes and mistakes are expected until you've run the fight enough times that you know it like the back of your hand.

The good thing is, you got to taste what end game power creep is like, the fight wasnt usually a first run clear when it came out, but thanks to being over 100 i levels since then, it becomes an easy burn when at least half the party knows the mechanics.

    Another thing to note:

For people that don't know the fight: their dps will be much lower. This happens with everyone. Dps gradually improves as people learn and get more comfortable with the fight. When the fight is new, they panic and run around like headless chickens without actually doing their dps rotation because they're afraid of dying or screwing something up. People also need to learn the proper timing to use cooldowns and that only comes with experience. *Machinist uses hypercharge. Boss goes invulnerable* Well.. that was a huge dps loss.

So if you stick a bunch of newbies in a fight they don't know, dps is almost guaranteed to be bad.
