SE: Please show MCH some love in Stormblood

Apparently, each SAM katana will have its own unique scabbard. It seems likely Red Mage will receive the same treatment with their Magic Crystal Medium. Bard bows all have unique quivers, and AST star globes all have unique card holders. So why is it that every MCH gun has the exact same Aether Converter/Gauss Barrel? Please address this issue with 4.0 release. The Machinists of Eorzea deserve the same treatment as all other jobs that receive secondary devices as part of their main arm!

The aether converter and gauss barrel are items given to us by the Skysteel manufactory,only place to get one and we are (story-wise) one of only a few MCH. The guns found in various dungeons or other methods are just that,guns. When we pair them with our unique tools makes us a MCH. I also would love it to have custom designs,but it seems like lore reasons keep them as they are.

But by that logic, there would be no reason for a bard to change quivers or AST to change card holders either. Even with the lore, there's nothing saying we cant swap those items willy nilly like the other jobs do, or that we can't "find" new ones along with our guns in a dungeon.

I think the issue is you're not using original ammo in old guns for example, you have a universal ammo creator at your hip- which is new recent technology. Basically what you want doesn't exist, although I suppose /new/ ones could be made.

Difference exists for the bow which all bows need quivers, and arrows. You have a gun but none of its own unique ammo and the converter wouldn't exist for many of the guns you see. At least that's my understanding (converter is new tech, quiver is not).

The barrel fitting on straight at minimum would be nice though lol. And I can understand people may want variation, was just suggesting there is probably lore standing behind the discrepancy you're pointing out. Could still make new glamour options, egi glamour for MCH lol.

Whilst we're at it, can we have the option to 'glamour' the Rook Autoturret to be a Magitek Bit and the Bishop Autoturret to be an Allagan Node?

Probably the reason we don't get custom lunchboxes is because most guns have unique animation parts and blahblahwedon'tcare PLS AT LEAST NEW BARREL/CONVERTER DESIGNS.

Ok, so I have 2 friends, one is a MCH, one is a BRD and they got relics together. My MCH friend is a bet jealous of my brd friend because how she has glowing arrows while the MCH beg is generic. She also does not like the Gauss Barrel on it, saying it does not fit the gun.

I like also the Ninja and Paladin have the scabbard for their weapon too, at least in the new ones.

I'd be down with this. Can ASTs get an option to turn off their stupid duel deck, too, without hiding the star globe? I hate the "card scabbard" or whatever it's called; I have no idea why it was implemented because it just looks bad IMO.
