Most of the Lala players I've talked to about WHY they chose Lala say they picked it because it was the only race that wasn't super thin or muscular.

I've honestly only ever met one person who played a Lala for any kind of fetish related reason in the nearly 2 years I've been playing this game, and the entire Lala community on my server shunned them pretty bad once the word got around.

I've heard way worse things on a daily basis from miqo'te players.

Sure you can go around stereotyping if you like: Miqo'te are universally stereotyped as perverts, Au Ra as edgelords, Elezen as narcissists, Hyur as boring and Roegadyn as exhibitionists (male)/brutes (female), but making fun of them after being asked to stop only makes you look bad. Here we just have a few players trying to have fun and doing absolutely nothing wrong.

To me, it's more like being Young Link in a Zelda game. Adventures are more exciting when the monsters are bigger and more imposing, giving you the impression of difficulty and expectation that you can't win.

It's like winning as the underdog, each victory is that much sweeter. Roe vs rat is a snoozefest, Lalafell vs Vishap is epic. (Obviously, this is a gross exaggeration, but it gives you the idea.)
