You have a point, however unless you make up a party and go in your technique may not work. Depending on your role, which I've seen several times, Tank usually sticks to Healer while others focus on support. Usually BLM/SUM >>>MNK>>>NIN and try to ignore range just because it's a waste of time unless they are bound. Sometimes you can just go with the flow and stick with the most competent person you can find.
