looking for some help with Mnk

I am asking for a friend that just returned to the game and got his MNK to level 60. I don't play that job and frankly I don't know anyone that mains it, that I could ask outside the forums.

We all know that if you want to get into tanking as example, you could always go to Xeno's or Layla's channel and get excellent guides that not only explain the rotations, but gear stats, BiS vs non BiS, what to look out for when not raiding (gear wise) etc.

And there's plenty guides out there for any other job that someone might be interested in.

My question, besides the forums, is there a in depth guide for mnks? Or could someone post a couple of names from raiders that main mnk and upload video's? At least my friend could take a look at it, and decide if that's any help to him. I do know xeno has a mnk guide, but he does not main the class and I don't know how up to date that guide is.

anyways, any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Nearly forgot too mention that he's looking for more end game orientated guides. He does know the skills and their descriptions, knows somewhat an acceptable rotation, but he would like to get better and back into end game till or upcoming 4.0. We won't need guides that explain the level 50 rotations or MNK basics.

This is the best I've found recently. It was last posted on in 2016, but as far as I can tell the rotation is still relevant. Your friend might have to dig a little to find a BiS set. Worst case scenario, have them go to Ariyala using Dervy's stat weights and just play around until they have the optimal set.

EDIT: If you're looking for endgame fight guides for Monk, check the Chakra Unleashed post on the DPS forums. If he's looking to refine his rotation and have the optimal opener, the links I posted are pretty good.
