    I wouldn't call it a drastic change, just a change. The classes in 1.0 were fun and worked because of the original design and skills that we had. Going back to the abilities that were around it worked out and the vision was something outstanding to me. We don't have this kind of flexibility or wide range of abilities to choose from so in 2.0 it doesn't have the weight it did. Even after 1.19 for a while it showed that some of these classes weren't needed over jobs.

    Though now, there is no use for them. There is nothing that makes a Lancer better than a Dragoon. Still..the biggest thing would be lore. Though I feel as if you could go into the conjurers guild, do the quest to be a CNJ. Instead in the CS maybe either a "shadowy figure" or the NPC themselves gets you access to your job, and still you train under the ways of the Conjurer until you've grown (Level 30) and then go start your job quests.

    It seems like a cheap way to do it but it would be a lot easier than to work around the entire system and re-doing things. Plus, some people may not have any attachment to the NPC's but the Gladiator class really kept with me, and the Lancer. These are interesting stories and have no need to go. Hate is a strong word, I wouldn't say I hate them...just I do not see the use for them anymore to select as playable.
