[SPOILERS] The Scion's Desk "Leader"?

So when do you think we will meet the new Desk leader of the Scions?

All current members have been ruled out and thus leaving a empty spot for someone to perform the paper work tasks building up which may become a serious Financial issue if the paper work remains unfinished for the scions.

Frankly, none of the remaining Scions are suited for the role left behind by Minfilia. If there's a pressing need, the position will probably fall to Alphinaud by default — something the other Scions already implicitly expect, if Patch 3.5 was anything to go by.

Y'shtola is arguably the most intelligent and task-oriented of the group, but it's clear that she has no liking for politics, just like Alisaie. Urianger is the most learned Scion by far, and best serves the organisation as its resident guru. Thancred is the most driven member, constantly seeking to improve himself, but he does his best work as a field agent, and not a pencil-pusher. Yda, well, whether you love her or hate her, she's clearly not leadership material.

As for Tataru, she's effectively the company secretary and treasurer (and resident seamstress!). Those roles are more than enough to keep her occupied.

What about the Warrior of Light, you may ask? Well, would you rather spend Stormblood fighting gods and Garleans, or shuffling papers? I think the answer is clear.

Personally, I think they were hinting at either Alphinaud or Alisaie filling the role. :B

Well he already rule himself out of that position already as he already stated he may have knowledge despite his age he lacks the Life Experience required to deal with shady and political dealings most of the paper work will involve. Thus the remind he stated about the Crystal Brave incident not repeating itself again due to the lack of life experience he has.

I don't feel like we will have a new single leader for a while. Especially with the upcoming expansion. I'm getting the impression that we will be tackling multiple issues in many different and new areas. I see us getting quests from Yugiri, Alph, and probably Yda this time around. Having one leader made sense before because the scions were kind of dealing with one problem at a time.

I agree that the Scions aren't likely to have an officially leader in Stormblood, and that if they do end up needing one Alphinaud would be the most likely candidate of the current Scions. I mean he was starting to take on Minfila's role when she was still around. I think that while the Scions as an organzation will be active but in the background for 4.0 with the Yugiri, Yda and the to be introduced SB npcs taking center stage with the Scions will probably move back into focus in the 4.x series.

We know so little about SB atm that this is pure speculation. Is it 3.56 yet?
