Yes I understand that someone could do a player search, but a name change should sort of take care of it.

even if you change your name, you are still on their friendlist because it tags it by ID number (maybe the lodestone id number?). anyway yeah, i agree with you on this, wishing that removing friends makes it a two way thing (by that, if you remove them, you also get removed from their end) just like how it is on most "friend" systems in others games/platforms/social networks
