He's not wrong about people needing to calm down. I can understand why people were mad at his statement, but I feel like people really are blowing Diadem out of proportion. If you don't like it, just don't do it.Clock is ticking. Yoshi-P did not help matters by addressing all of this by simply saying people need to calm down and due to the rarity of the i280s, the animas were still the best weapon. I've already unsubbed and bought ESO. Every day I have fun in Tamriel makes it all the harder for him to win me back.
This isn't just the gaming community, this is the political climate, and a sad reality to our world that I wish we could change in the future.Would you like them to kneel when they do it, too? Have them grovel? Press their nose to the floor?
The attitudes I witness never fail to astound me. Apologise and repent for fates and having a 1% chance of a weapon dropping with a 1% chance of having stats that aren't terrible? It's ridiculous, and if I were Yoshi-P I'd have said a lot more than "calm down."
See my prior statement about them invalidating the sole reason I wasted my time, effort and gil on an anima. Not doing the Diadem won't change anything.
What's wrong with diadem? Forum's just full on complaints about anything and everything.
1) ilvl 280 weapons released 9 days after the final stage of Anima weapon rendors all the effort and time for BiS obsolete in most cases. BiS is now a lottery, this move caused the most hatred. The weapon is incredibly rare and the chance of getting one, let alone a job you want is slim, but it's still the fact it was 9 days after.
2) FATEs... Need I say more? Ok? FATEs have been shoved on us so much. Lack an idea for something like say... A relic weapon quest, Seasonal quest? Make them do FATEs! People were bored of them very early on in 2.0, and still they just throw them in. The old Diadem had a really good content layout, but just needed a few tweaks to make it alot better. Instead we got yet another damn FATEfest.
