See my prior statement about them invalidating the sole reason I wasted my time, effort and gil on an anima. Not doing the Diadem won't change anything.

Would you like them to kneel when they do it, too? Have them grovel? Press their nose to the floor? As I tell my kids, when you do something wrong you need to do three things. Admit your mistake, apologize for it and do what you can to rectify it. The devs have done all three for the original Diadem, and we forgave them. They have yet to do any of the three for the new Diadem. If they did all three, I'm fairly certain there would be forgiveness and understanding.
The attitudes I witness never fail to astound me. Apologise and repent for fates and having a 1% chance of a weapon dropping with a 1% chance of having stats that aren't terrible? It's ridiculous, and if I were Yoshi-P I'd have said a lot more than "calm down."

This isn't just the gaming community, this is the political climate, and a sad reality to our world that I wish we could change in the future.Would you like them to kneel when they do it, too? Have them grovel? Press their nose to the floor?

This is something Swtor refuses to learn, which is why I appreciate ff14 so much, flaws and greatness alike
I'm in agreement...but I'm pretty sure you've made threads very similar to this one in the past. Or am I mistaken?

If they refuse to learn from their mistakes, then I refuse to relent

I think this is a big step in the right direction for diadem. They could add other things in there too like side missions, treasure hunting quests that have you defeat certain boss type enemies, etc.
I appreciate them redoing Diadem, but I still think it needs some more work before people will be overall satisfied with it
<_< Or heck even add gimmicks that allow FC airships to do something in Diadem to influence it more.I think this is a big step in the right direction for diadem. They could add other things in there too like side missions, treasure hunting quests that have you defeat certain boss type enemies, etc.

Could even come with it's own drawbacks. You get so many opportunities to explore, but the more you explore, the more you damage the airship and the more damage it suffers the longer you have to wait before you can use that airship again. So the risk reward involves taking the chance to explore to unlock a hidden location, node, boss, or other unique Emergency Missions.
Honestly, it's just the one thing that really bugs me about HW, they made such a big deal about airships and Diadem and how they would be such a big part of Diadem and yet the content/their involvement is just disappointing.
I hope Airships don't get forgotten and that they can have some influence in the future, if anything my only suggestion would be for FC unable to get housing, just grant them an instance in which they can create 1 airship but they can only create said airship if they have at least 4 people in their FC.
