    Selling low-level gathering items

    Can we agree not to ridiculously undersell people selling items, especially lower-level Woodcutters, Masons/Ironmongers, and Chirurgeons? I know you may just have some extra and are trying to get rid of it, but it kinda hurts those of us trying to make a living with no high-level DoL >.>

    For instance:
    Maple Sap 1.5k -> 300-700
    Yew Log 4k -> 1.6k
    Zinc Ore 500 -> 300
    Elm Log 3k -> 1.8k or less

    Now I know, "quit crying and level up your DoL, we always need rosewood/cobalt/etc." And I'm working on it. But, when I do get that high, I am still not going to pawn off the lower level stuff at cheap-o prices. Competitive pricing is all well and good (you want your stuff to sell first), but when the prices goes 300,300,300,1.5k,2k new people will put stuff up for 500-1k, permanently driving the price down, which is no bueno :3.

    It's tricky, I do agree.

    In my case, I started thinking if I want to take blacksmith, armorer, or carpenter more seriously, I would need to be able to have miner and botanist at levels where I can gather the materials myself.

    I have a lot more copper ore, iron ore, and alumen than I anticipated trying to level up (since most of blacksmith/armorer/carpenter levels are from mob drops, a super affordable stack of logs that someone put up once, and local leves). I imagine that once I move on from the current grade of gathering and using it, would try to sell the excess amounts.

    Although for me, this would be after I make a stack of 99 ingots, plates, and/or rivets. And even then, after clearing out all outdated materials that can no longer be crafted with first (I may never sell it at my current rate).

    I'm not sure on both parts, it just depends on what specific item you are trying to look at. I haven't bought much low-level gear so I'm not sure about that either ^^;.

    Yeah, I agree. The only thing I didn't like about armorer was there was one point where nuggets yielded best exp, and they can't be gathered anymore D: and I didn't have BS leveled to make them.

    iron ore sells for 1k average. i spent 2 mil to buy all the ore under 750gil and resold t during the week and made a mil profit. undercutters are a blessing in disguise if you take advantage of it. Best time to buy is the weekend, best time to sell is midweek.

    edit: buying fromthe item search feature will prob make more people do this which should stabilize the wards.
