Alone in the snow desert

It all began when i took the decision to board the Invincible II,it was suppose to take me to ishgard,but nothing went like i expected,

I heard that since some years,the war between ishgard and the dragon got fiercer*,i thought that it was okay,that the road to ishard was still safe,

All went well,until in mid trip,the boat got stuck in the ice,the captain of the ship told us that it was normal,that we would just have to wait until the ice would melt, just a bit for the vessel to sail again,

Third days*;we are still stuck in the ice,the blizzard got stronger,we started to share evenly the food between everyone,but it wont last long,the travel was expected to last 5 days,not longer but turned out even worse,

Seventh day,we are out of food,we do not have any wood to burn and stay warm,we must move,or we will die here,the others wants to wait the help,they said they should be there soon,but we have nothing left,if we wait 1 day,the hunger will prevent us from moving anywhere,so i decided to move on,everyone looked at me as i opened the hatch and go outside,

I looked around,and it was wat worse than i imagined,no one would have guessed that 1 week ago,there were a lake here,everything was stuck in the ice,moreover a lot of monsters were roaming there,i thought that i was glad to go alone,cause with everyone,we would have attract a lot of attention,and it would have been harder to find a way back,

I had to advance precautiously,there are a lot of lezard like monster,that usualy stay near lake,seems like they got as surprised as us by the blizzard,they look starving,for them too,it must have been some time since their last meal,and for sure and i dont want to be the next on the menu,
I continued my way,avoiding any predator,im not in shape to fight,im hungry and cold,the wind seemed stronger,i absolutly had to find a shelter,even for a moment,to catch my breath and warm myself,

Its a that moment,i saw the entrance of a cave

I went to the cave, slowly,to check silently if they were any predator inside,seems like the cave was empty,but the cave was not deep enough,the wind was still blowing inside,not that strong,but enough to prevent me to rise my body temperature,

I had the idea to summon a bombo to warm me up

I used my mana to summon it,to get warmer and go as soon as i can,i cannot stay in that cave too long,the wind will freeze me slowly,i will die from hypothermia before anything else,
So i went outside the cave,seems like the blizzard calmed a bit,so i rushed as much as i could,i knew there should be a camp near,i know a bit of the region,its a camp held by templar,

The wind was freezing me,i had put my hands under my armpit to hide them from the wind,i couldent feel my cheek anymore,but i strenghen my resolve to go to that camp,it was the only way,

Finaly,after some hour of walking,i saw something

Thats was definitly the camp i was looking for,but something seemed off,and i coulden't tell what,but my instinct tell me something's wrong,

They were monsters near the camp,something was definitly off,the templar wouldn't have let them go that close.

I slowly entered in the camp,the bonfire were off,and..... there were a wolf in the center of the camp,and the aetheryte was broken,the camp has been destroyed,normal monster could not have the strength the destroy the crystal....but Dragon,dragon could had the strength to do so,i realised now,that the war with the dragon,is on the dragon's favor,ishgard is losing his territory,

My legs grew tired,and fell,the camp was destroyed,i couldn't rest here,i had to move on,but will i find anything?anyone*? The more time passed,the more i saw my death here,in that white desert,

My only way now,is to head for the village near by,i will have to walk again,one hour maybe two, i had to act fast,night was coming in less than five hours,i couldn't stayed outside with that harsh cold,or i would die,

My mind was blank,i couldn't think of anything,just walking,walking and walking again,i could not stop,if i did,it would had been over for me,

The village was near,but i had to climb before entering the village

My legs were hurting so ,i tryed to breath more,but everytime i did,the cold went deeper in my lungs,i just wanted to be in the village,and in a warm bed....

It was a desaster,the village had been taken by some sort of dragon,but i couldn't stay outside,night was close,so i went near the house,unoticed,i was listening to the insinde of each house,to know if i could rest in one,that was not overtook by monster's,sadly,they all had been taken by monster's,only the chocobo stable was safe,so i decided to enter in the stable,shut all door,and i lyed down in the hay,i Fell asleep instanlty,i was too tired to think of anything,and didn't know if i would wake up after it,but at that precise moment,it was not my concern at all,
