Thinking about transfering got some questions

I have heard things are like done on JP datacenters. Like the stuff regarding soar. Also what about stance dancing tanks/healers? I like hear thing about the meta being different from NA.

How is the frontline "seal rock" doing on this datacenter?(would like to get the coat)

Tonberry has a large AUS community, so you will see a lot of the troupes from EN data centers.
I have not seen many (if any) Must skip soar!!

Seal Rock is dead as a dodo
Most groups use JP Macros for content, and its generally easy going. Still get plenty of the (Clear ONLY) and some (JP ONLY)
But its generally like most Data Centres.

If you don't speak Japanese you may face some frustration on Tonberry. There are loads of English users on Tonberry itself, but for DF, RF and party finder you will be grouped with everyone on the data centre, the vast majority of whom speak only Japanese. Most PUGs will have you as the only English speaker. In the party finder, most groups are Japanese and state that only Japanese speakers can join. Most I know don't seem worried about it, we can just play with FC mates, so it's not too bad. I'm not sure where you are located, but if you're very far from Tokyo you will have a bad time with lag and need a VPN. The only reason there is an Aussie/english speaker community on Tonberry is because the lag is not so bad, as we are closer to Tokyo than N/A or E/U datacentre.. That said, Japanese people are pretty cool and friendly, even if emotes and auto-translate are the main way of communicating with them. As for stance dancing, you can probably get away with not doing it if you don't want to. I'm not sure about tanking but most healers seem to throw some stones here and there.
