suggestion about minions and houseing

Im still a little new to ff14, but a couple other games iv played before this you were able to let your minions free roam in your private zones. I was really surprised when i couldn't in this game, iv talked to multiple people in ff14 and all of them thought it was a good idea. Would this be possible, and could it be a future update to have more customization for your private rooms/ housing?

People have been throwing this idea at the devs since houses were first released. I think once Yoshi even acknowledged the suggestion and said they'd work on it, but I don't think there's been any update since.
