Cannot Connect to Aether or Primal

Is anyone getting error 2002 when trying to connect to Aether and Primal? Got booted earlier. On Midgardsormr, but friend is on Balmung and is still in game. We were able to connect for a short period of time, but then got booted again. We reset the network, but it didn't resolve. We weren't having any other network/internet related issues.

Still cant get in.

I just started having the same issues, although I was playing fine earlier today. I never encountered this in the past 6 months I have been playing.

I'm on Gilgamesh and can't get on with same error 2002 got booted twice unable to get back in.

Also happening to me, started about an hour ago. Never encountered this type of problem before. I reconnected for a 5 minute window or so and then got disconnected again and have been seeing repeated 2002s. Tried resetting my router as well.

When I use the command tool to ping Aether or Primal IPs, I get nothing but packet loss. I was worried it was just me.

I am having the same problem. I disconnected earlier from a dungeon and now I can't log back into the game. I keep getting constant 2002 errors. Been trying for over an hour now. I can't even log into a different data center.

Bumping this because the same issue just occurred for about 30 minutes between 2:00 and 2:30 CST. Error 90001, then 2002 when attempting to reconnect. Here's a link to the Reddit thread describing the problem as it happened.

I pinged Aether and Primal's IPs using the Command Prompt during the 30 minute block and got nothing but "request timed out." I also could not connect to these forums during the outage. Outside of FFXIV related services, my internet was functioning fine.
