Free Company rank and dismissal

I just had an issue today regarding my FC when an officer went rogue and kicked about 16 people, including myself. Seeing as how I'm a higher ranked member of the FC it confused me as to why he was able to do that.It would be great if Square Enix would fix this issue so no one has to go through this again. I doubt my Fc is the only one to have gone through this type of issue.

He was able to do that because someone in your FC gave him the ability to dismiss members. This isn't an SE issue, it's your FC leader(s) setting permissions too generously / not screening well enough. This has happened before and there are threads here about new members stealing millions of gil and kicking everyone because someone didn't know how to properly set rank permissions. It really sucks when it happens, but the only thing you can do is learn from the experience and try to educate the FC leadership about these permissions.

I knew were going to have to be careful choosing who would be officers of the FC but not this careful. I know and understand what you're saying though, Llus. We have it set to where only officers, my rank and the leader are able to dismiss members. I don't know why an officer of the Fc did this but it was really uncalled for. Thanks for the input, Llus.
