    I had over 300 "Ixali Oaknots" in my inventory.

    I later went to trade in these items and I only had 14 in my inventory.

    I never spent them. I never had in retainers, and oddly enough I had a stack of 13, and a stack of 1 which makes no sense. I previously had multiple stacks of 99.

    I never spent these items as I had no idea what to buy.

    Can someone check my inventory history and see what happened, and if other items went missing? This is the only item I recall as I was planning on using them. I saw the vendor said I had well over 300. A few days later I checked the market board to see what sells.

    Then when I went to trade in almost all of them were gone.

    I've done dailies for many months saving these items (and moonstone) up.

    I could be wrong, but if something disappeared without you spending or discarding it could be someone else logging into your account. Did this happen recently ? Is anything else missing ? I'd recommend changing your password regardless though, just to be safe.

    I'm not sure if anything else was missing. I only know the oaknots since I planned on using them.

    I don't think anyone else logged in but how can I tell? Can they check my IPs?

    Does any support staff reply here?

    Changes to your character, missing gil/items etc. If you're in an FC you could ask them if you were online at an unusual time maybe ? Unfortunately I can't help you with your last question as I'm pretty new to these forums myself.

    Although it is just an assumption (I don't work for SE), it is very likely that whatever IPs logged into your account is recorded. Basic SE customer support might not have access to that themselves though. However it's quite unlikely that someone else logged into your account due to the security measures they have now. If you have a one time password on the account someone would need that code (which is as close to impossible as you can get if they don't have access to your phone etc) and if you don't have one time password, then the change of email address would force a password change to your email address (so someone would need access to your email to do that and if that's the case you have bigger problems than your XIV account).

    No, sorry, this forum is for players to help other players, but as you can imagine, we can't help with account enquiries. Your best bet is to contact a GM in game and see what they say. If you did that and they said to go to the forums, they likely meant to post it in the In-Game Bugs forum and I can see that you have already done that. They don't reply to threads there, but they do move them to subfolders (Accepted, unable to confirm etc) and it looks like the oldest one in that forum is a week old so you just need to wait to see where they move it.

    Or for a faster resolution you could contact them via phone or webchat, although I don't know if that's something they can help with (without escalating it as again basic SE support is unlikely to have database logs etc). It's also possible they might want to use your one time item restore for this which you may not feel is worth it considering you can get them back at a rate of 42/week (doing the rank 5 and rank 6 Ixali quests each day).
