People telling me how to play healer

Wow, all this toxicity in this thread. This is exactly the reason why there are so few healers in DF. You guys make me sick!

have you read the pfs out there nothing reallly surprises me , I use cleric myself because I just enjoy dpsing as a healer but there are times where I just cant, same with astro cards sometimes its hard to joggle the cards, I think alot of players just only view content through their own personal prospective

Ummmm...excuse me, what? Ever since 3.5 hit, my queues to doing expert and 60 roulettes have been taking much longer, and its not very rare that I'm #20+ or #30+ in the queue.

I hope people are gonna keep on kicking you, I sure will if I see you slacking, although thats very unlikely because I usually take the healer spot in roulettes BECAUSE I'm worried about getting a healer like you.

Dont wanna play cards? Dont play Ast. Simple.

As someone who levels all job roles (and mains AST as healer for the time being), this is a very difficult issue we're straddling. On the one hand, I've been a nervous/anxious healer and it took quite a long time to get comfortable weaving DPS in between heals and managing MP. On the other, as someone who's cleared those hurdles and has a better grasp how to play the class...

Having said that, "you don't pay my sub fee" is a very adversarial stance to take when you're participating in group content. Your sub fee entitles you access to the game servers and nothing else, and people need to start realizing this or they're going to continue having a bad time.

Pure and simple, managing your cards as AST is very not-difficult whatsoever. I'll even break it down here for you:

1. Draw
2. If Balance, hang on to it for later with Spread, if not, skip to step 3
3. Hit Redraw
4. If Balance, hang on to it for later with Spread, if not, skip to step 5
5. Hit Royal Road to set up your enhancement and/or start Draw's cooldown
6. Go back to step 1 once Draw is off cooldown

This is a very basic way to manage your cards and can be relied upon if your attention span is short (like mine is) or you're distracted healing/dpsing. You can build off from this or deviate as necessary, such as waiting on an Arrow to boost action speed, a Ewer if you or your cohealer are low on MP, etc.
