I was hoping they would make the apts a minimum, the same square yalmage as a small house.

I don't really care about outside space but I like a big interior, if I could get an apartment with the same square yalmage as a med house but in a single or 2 floors I would be a happy happy camper. But yeah, apartments are basically storage for a lot of ppl.

Shirogane housing is coming in 4.0 or soon after. It's been one of the biggest announcement outside of Samurai in the 4.0 news so far. Go back and check out anything about 4.0 and you should find it.

to top it all of to get a room at you FC house it 300,000, and to get a room (not apartment mind you but room) at the "apartment" building is 500,000. Can you say rip off.

The extra money is probably for security. With the FC rooms you can lose that at the whim of your FC owner. They can legitimately kick you out, whenever they want, for whatever reason they want and you'll lose the FC room in the progress (or maybe just because they are moving the FC home to a different house, that still requires all rooms to be demolished first).

But with the apartment, Square Enix is the equivalent to your landlord and they've said there are no plans for demolitions of apartments so you should be safe with one of those indefinitely.

The apartments should be more than just a copy of fc rooms. I expected some sort of balcony where I could do a little gardening and decorating. Nope. Still locked out of cross planting. Yea you get access to a chocobo stable but it's much cheaper to just find a fc with a house and use their one instead.

Apartments are a great idea but they're literally just fc rooms with a chocobo stable. At the very least the rooms should be bigger to make players feel that they have bought an actual place of residence instead of just one room. In their current state they are a rip-off.
