And people like that need to be kicked on sight. They need to keep those cure bot ways OUT of duty finder. Tired of seeing my co-healer spam Cure 1 (or ever worse, Medica II) if the tank so much as sneezes and takes 2% damage. Ridiculous!!
Issue is that if you're even decent, not even good at your job, just bare minimum decent you'll have over 50%/70% downtime to pick your nose because healing is grossly overpowered in this game. If SE wants healers to primarily heal and for that expectation of good DPS play not to be put on others then they need to change things. Encounters need to hit harder, there needs to be more ambiant damage, and our healing options need to be nerfed heavily.
The issue then however becomes that since most heal-only healers aren't very good, almost every one of them I've queued with goes out of mana or can't even heal with their overpowered tools, they'll have an even harder time of it. Personally I'd like for healing to matter more since they nerfed our dps options.
I'm bored as hell right now frankly unless I'm in an Alliance roulette where the variability in skill is so vast between participants that I DO need to heal or rez more on occasion. However let's not pretend that the people who barely understand their class enough not to even see the huge downtimes inherent to this games healer design won't end up worse for it. We either stay in this DPS Healer meta where heal-only healers have basically the easiest time in the game and still often mess up, or we make adjustments to enforce healing standards and those people get left behind. I'm personally fine with the latter but we need to accept that not everyone will be, especially a fair portion of the people who ONLY want to heal right now.
