La Noscea has great landscapes, any of them are an option for me. I would personally live in the Mist, but Lavender Beds would be nice too.

The Lavender Beds are adequate, though if I were not constrained by game mechanics, I'd probably look for a more secluded and isolated area deeper in the Black Shroud.
Giant Aether pocket next to momma crystal and cid in my pocket so I can form my own partial landscapes on the fly - partial being the keyword for lore, its not a true landscape just an image made by aether with some areas solidified for player use (or in other words Wildstar housing, /housing pitch fork/lol).
And I see at some point i'd have to have some ridiculous waterfall rpg visita like you've seen a few times in RPG game, with the house/land in the center xD.
Alternatively if it was like "YOU MUST PICK ONE AREA" I'll pick twolol.
I guess first one I'd pick a sky isle, like we have with the Pirate's base except hopefully an actual floating island with a lot of water and or cloud features.
Pirate base that exists in game for reference: https://youtu.be/rKkXU7IxPyA?t=8m15s (not my youtube)
So imaging cloud+/water:

Basically I want zeal lol:![]()
If I MUST just not be so greedy (making things up lol), I'd like a house slightly in the valley below Idyllshire- perhaps embed into the rock arches so that it hangs and that at times the clouds skim the house's like a sea of clouds, the waterfalls in view.

I always liked the hermit's hovel. Step out to your own hot springs? Yess
Urth's Fount.
If I could live anywhere in Eorzea? I'd live in Aymeric's place obviously.
I quite like my little place in the Goblet, it's very cozy and has a lovely view, but if I had to choose somewhere else, I'd move into that little cabin on the cliff in outer La Noscea.
I wouldn't mind having a little apartment in Foundation, either, just to get away to in the summer when Thanalan gets to be too hot for me.
Just about anywhere in the shroud with Odin's weather up, hermit's hovel as Rymi stated or that misty swamp area that was shown with some of the Al mhigo screenshots.
Top of the Striking Tree (Ramuh's arena). The scenery around there is actually quite nice.
Gridania, Lavender Beds. Love the nature! ^^
