During the Pax live twitch Q&A Yoshida confirmed definite coming of mannequins i.e the ability to display weapons gear you've obtained within housing and so on, during 4. X Series.

INB4 can only have one per house, need glamour prisms to put gear on them, can't wear GC gear (like retainers) along with some other nonsensical restrictions and is a 0.5% drop from the last room in Aquapolis.
I'm glad it's coming though, been requested for some time now.
Just don't get too much hype, it might be added to the mogstore =P
Well, if they allow a fairly large number of mannequins (house size dependent of course) in house/apartment, it would seriously cut down the hassle of storing glamour pieces.
Then again people would be angry that those with houses get free extra storage (in a sense).
I imagine a mannequin will be added to Inns as well, like the Orchestrion was.
Yeah, agreed. Really, really glad that they confirmed it is still being worked on, and will hopefully be added to the game soon, but am quite worried about potential restrictions on them.INB4 can only have one per house, need glamour prisms to put gear on them, can't wear GC gear (like retainers) along with some other nonsensical restrictions and is a 0.5% drop from the last room in Aquapolis.

The first one especially. I don't want just one display, I want to make a whole armory in my house!
Indeed, it was quite a good retort. However, since early in 2.x Yoshi has claimed that he was unhappy with the NA servers & as a result Stormblood needed new servers to succeed. The shear venom in his voice when he was taking about them today, then the utter glee when he revealed the move, was incredibly telling. It would have happened regardless of the Cash Shop or the game would be in its death throes.
