Has anyone used PoTD to level lower characters, for example those only at lvl15? What kind of experience do you get doing PoTD levels 0-50 or is it better to just keep rerunning 1-10? I've only ever ran PoTD at lvl60 so haven't seen whether the exp is decent.

You will get a bit more exp in 51-60 but on the other side 1-10 is slightly faster. I would say both bring equal amounts of exp if you see it over time.

Thanks, I'll give it a go. I'm about to reach the awful 25-30 lull where the FATEs are crap & the dungeon queues worse.

+ lvl 1-10 is a real no-brainer grind and you actually can clear it solo without taking care about your grp - its hard to wipe even if you try. lvl 51-60 could give you a hard punch here in there if you are still in no-brainer mode ; ) – I think thats why 1-10 became so popular ^^'

    Admittedly that is true...

Striking Dummies are exactly how I could figure out how to push high DPS numbers. You get to see how much damage you are doing too... because DoTs don't show up in the battle side chatlog.

Its especially helpful for stacking DoTs and seeing just how much you can squeeze out of it when combined with other things.

And using Rouse and Spur on your pet to see just how much the damage increases. You start to see the full potential of the DPS class.

Granted sometimes your DPS is very situational and you have to make sure the mobs are lined up right before doing it, but at least knowing how much DPS you can push when its time... is pretty big.

PoTD may be fast, but like you say is awfully, soul-crushingly tedious. I would only do any of that if/when you actually feel like it.

For me, the dungeon bosses/trials/raids are the most fun so I do roulette then spam the highest dungeon. While queuing I do whatever quests might be available such as beast tribe dailies or other side-quests, hunting log, clan marks, FATEs and occasionally leve-quests.
