Path of the Sword Choice [SAM or RDM]

So once 4.0 is released which Sword Path will you choose if you have to choose one as your Main choice for Sword DPS Job?

The Path of Sword and Skill as Samurai

or

The Path of Sword and Magic as Red Mage

For me I have been moving more towards Samurai as I do favor more speed sword style combat but now moving to Red Mage. I just can't make a solid choice until 4.0.

RDM, even though it won't melee and is a ranged caster.

RDM, I played RDM a lot on FFXI, but really didn't like how it was forced into a healer role. So I'm going to enjoy the other side for awhile.

Having been at fanfest I recall them saying Sam was going to be the hard hitting melee not speedy, monk and ninja already have that covered.

From what I've seen Red mage look like the speedier of the two styles with its chain spells and dashes.

Personally I play monk atm (I'm not a massive fan of drg) so I'll level both monk and Sam to 70 and play which ever is most viable in raids for my static.

As much a I like Samurai, I'll go Red Mage because it's ability for close and ranged combat.
