Recover Account - Unknown Security & Answer Question, nor Square Enix ID

A friend of mine is trying to get back into the game, but he can't remember password, square enix id nor his security question's answer.

All he has is the product key (steam) and his own email. Opened a ticket with a random square enix ID (since he can't remember it) and didn't get a response.

All we need is the info to be forwarded to his email, which is the same of his ff account: thtico@hotmail.com

We need a support on this, please.

Phone them up they will ask things like ,email address, name, phone number etc. They will be able to match other information to your account, I had to do this too when I came back to the game. It took no more than 10 mins to get it sorted and I also had to remove my token with it being lost.

The problem is we're brazilian. It would cost a fortune to call them, that's why we need some kind of online support or answer to this, unfortunately..

Sorry, but these forums are for players to help other players, there's no official SE support here. If phoning is a problem and email too slow he can try online chat support at:

I have no experience with this personally though so no idea how well it works. Yes the chat is for Final Fantasy XI, but from what I've heard it's the same (both now use Square Enix IDs) so don't worry about that.

Also recommend removing his email from the top post (since SE don't use this forum for support).

Unfortunately the only way you'll be able to reach support is either through email, online chat, or phone. The forum is more a place where players communicate with each other and leave feedback about the game.
