Hellwolf (Ilvl 110 PvP gear) glamour?

Hello everyone!

So I've had my eyes on those sets for a long time. They are the very first ''unique'' looking pvp gear we got a long time ago and are nowadays pretty much useless since plenty of new stuff came out for pvpers. Despite that, I think some pieces look amazing and I really love them!

Would it be possible to unlock their very severe class limitations for glamour purposes? I mean... I especially love the black mage one(dem heels look goooood) but I hate playing black mage... Is there a possibility for them to ever receive a limitation removal and allow at least other classes of the same type to wear them like how all other pieces of armor work in this game?

They are old and obsolete enough to warrant a rework, I think.

They want the armor not to be job/class specific, they want to wear BLM armor as not a BLM. With the compromise listed that it's not completely unlocked but just shared in the same job types (mages, healers, tanks, etc etc).

If they do that I hope they unlock all of the chunky armour for non-tanks, and not just for the PVP sets.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. So basically it's Artifact gear for PVP & they want it to be type, rather than job. I can understand that.

I would support them being changed to role instead of specific job.

For example, it would be awesome if say the Wolfseye set (BLM only) could be used by any of the casters (BLM, SMN or RDM). Or the Swangrace set (WHM only) could be used by any of the healers. However, I would not support the sets being totally open to any job, i.e. the Swangrace set opening up for tanks to wear.

Due to the limitations of the glamour system, I've been enjoying having them role locked (so I can make my BLM look like a wolf and my SMN look like, erm, a Makai Priest at the moment). I'd rather they just added a level 1 glam version if they were going to do this without fixing the crippled glamour system. But that's just my opinion. They're still some of the best designs in the game and I can see why people would want them.

I would like this to be how they handled it. Especially if the items required materials either bought with wolf marks or desynthed from PvP gear, since that would give both PvP turnout and the markets a bit of a boost.
