[SUGGESTION] For Stormblood expansion, make sure to nerf all ARR/Heavensward EXP

I've searched around a bit and couldn't find anything addressing this, so I wanted to just suggest to SE to nerf all leves, story quests, collectibles, etc for battle classes and crafting/gathering classes from PRE lvl 61-70 so that they cannot contribute to experience gained after level 60. This would ensure that people who prepare stacks of collectibles for gathering/crafting, for example, cannot instantly hit level 70 with turn ins, which would give them a huge leg up. If it's already a planned feature then great, if not then it should be (Heavensward had a similar problem where story quests/leves werent nerfed until a few hours after the patch went live, but some of the damage was done as people hit higher levels alot faster with pre-completed leves.

    Thanks!

It will probably be like with the release from HW.
Leves were only designed to give experience up to level 50. If you get level 50 you only earned 10% of the experience.

Problem is, heavensward didn't release like that, that change was patched in a few hours after the release, but alot of people had already turned in the leves for full exp by then

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but can you not only have 16 completed levequests stored in your log? I don't think that would be enough to hit 70 or even give a significant advantage. It's only 3 days worth of allowances. Early access will give a much bigger advantage than that.

Beastman quests will probably not contribute above level 60. At least for Moogles since the experience reward plummets down to 10k if you swap to a level 60 crafter. I recall the same thing happens with Ixal turn-ins and quests. Hopefully collectibles are the same since they are only limited by your inventory space and thus would give an advantage to those who spend real money on retainers.

As for battle content I hope they don't nerf PotD, dungeons and fates like last time, but rather naturally scale the new content so that it's worth doing over the old.

Yoshi already implied they won't nerf PotD as he mentioned it for the new lvl cap to give more options in leveling up. They'll probably bring more floors so it wouldn't be a complete faceroll of skipping content and leveling up fast, after all the exp you get there isn't that different from a roulette. They'll probably make lv60 dungeons give bad exp for the first couple of months so people don't do speed runs of overgeared dungeons like they did in HW with nerfing lv50 dungeons with 0 exp reward.

Yoshi said the floor 200 update was the last update for PotD, and next update to the Deep Dungeons would be releasing brand new one. The new Deep Dungeon will be released sometime during 4.x. I guess they could have the new Deep Dungeon ready for 4.0 but I kind of doubt it.

What's wrong with people leveling faster? Nobody has a huge advantage because everyone can do that. Can not do much with lv70 crafter/gatherer without access to new areas for new mats and nodes which requires battle class leveling and story progression anyway.

It's probably a concern with DF queues. Playerbase, at least most of it, will stick to the fastest way to level up on first weeks. If something outside instances, like N.Thanalan fates did, give more exp for less effort and time, barely anyone would run all the new dungeons and this is why they also made lv50 dungeons give no exp on HW because they could be speed run in 10 minutes, would make new content useless. They want people to explore everything, or as much as possible, in the expansion.

I disagree with their decision to give 0 xp to all Lv50 dungeons on the release. New content is new content and great, and story has and will always be the best leveling tool but actually getting secondary jobs to 51 so they could even touch Dusk Vigil was an annoying chore.

This is not a problem... why is it considered a problem?
