Also add relic light to the Feast and Aquapolis, and possibly Deep Dungeon floors 51-200. These are only HW instances which don't give light.

Shouldn't apply to deep dungeon purely for the fact that in PoTD you don't use your equipped weapon/armour. you have the PoTD specific ones

How is it? during PoTD you don't use the weapon. i agree with your other points because you are using the weapon and therefore should earn light. but you shouldn't earn light if you aren't using the weapon

But I have it equipped when entered. If I AFK in raid or dungeon or frontlines, I still get light even if I never used that weapon for single hit, so that logic is flawed.

but it isn't equipped for PoTD really. as soon as you enter PotD your gear is essentially removed and you are given the PotD gear.

The reason given makes sense. PoTD has its own gear system, hence your equipped weapon isn't a factor. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's white-knighting. As for Diadem, meanwhile, I agree that it should be possible there as that content needs all the incentives it can get to draw people in.

There is no reason why we "shouldn't" get light in PotD. What you are arguing is technical reason why it may not be possible to give light in PotD. Either way, OP asked for Diadem, not PotD and you guys are kinda derailing the topic
