This thread is about how SE drop 280 first BEFORE Dun Scaith 270 weapon upgrade so technically 4 weapons vs 0 from Dun Scaith weapon upgrade lol which is rarer, you tell me?

The points of the matter is how fast SE introduced a higher ilv weapon when anima was just updated.

The mere fact that it exists diminishes anima relic owners pride especially since it arrives so soon, which is the point.

And 0 reward from DS for 0 possibility to have a reward is not "rare". It's like saying "Before 3.55a, i275 Anima were much rarer than Alexandrian weapon".
Don't worry, we'll do the maths again when the option becomes available and suddently the probability skyrockets to 100% every week with the absence of RNG, skill and even time.

That is what they claimed anyway. It might well be that there never was an issue in the first place and the reason they split them apart is because they anticipated the reaction of the players - After all, there's no point in first upgrading your weapon to i275 if you intend to upgrade it in the Diadem afterwards anyway. You'd go straight into Diadem with whatever you happen to have at the time, whether it's i230, 240, 260, 270 or 275. Anything goes as long as you meet the iLvL requirement.

I've lost enough faith in SE by now that I believe that this supposed "bug" was never a real thing in the first place. I also do not believe that it was meant as an "alternative" for anyone for anything - even with bad stats, it's still best in slot. It's clearly meant to funnel everyone into Diadem hells be damned.

What I find interesting about all the threads talking about this and "how fast" the i275 Anima was outdated with the release of an i280 weapon 9 days

IT was a stupid idea period this does nothing to help players that didnt wana do relic weapon, if SE wanted to help those players they would of put ilvl 270 or 265 weapons in there with much higher drop rates. This was just an attempt to get people to do fate grinds.

To all guys saying "its like bla bla bla wondrous trail blabla",you miss the point that the gear on wondrous trail was not the best gear you could have,the savage were 270,and so wondrous were more like a bonus,but there,the fact that the weapon dmg is so high is that,EVEN if you have no secondary stat,that weapon is still better than relic or savage weapon.

And THATS why its insane,if teh weapon were 270 yeah,it would be a good bonus,you have zurvan at 265 and if you do relic,or beat savage you can have 275,but then again,people dont understand that for raider or people who have done their relic from the start,from some years agao,its infuriating taht some with some luck will beat years of relic,or month of traing in savage.

It's not really rare. And in actuality takes a lot less work then raid and anima weapons. You can practically be in the Diadem group if it procs, not contribute whatsoever and still get a free 280 weapon. You can argue stat weights all you want but there is really no argument for that +3 WD and the +5 on main stats over the then current highest tier weapons.

People are upset and rightfully so. Players pour a lot of time into something and this to them is a huge slap in the face.

You only need to beat primals to get the Lux weapon. Keep in mind that you already were rewarded for all the previous step by the previous stage of the weapons.

You can't compare building an Anima from scratch with obtaining a Diadem weapon.

Players should have to work for a weapon that high instead of having casual content just throw one at them on a random rng whim.

Didn't high end raiders always bash the relics saying only the raid weapons should matter and always be the strongest?

Yet now both the Relic and Raid weapons are subjugated to Diadem? And so soon? Pffft.
