[Suggestion] Hunt target A, B & S ranks timer?

During recent months (I'm not a long time player so it may have been happening a lot more often) I've noticed hunts being broadcast in different Hunt LS and people immediately arriving and pulling the mob so to rob the hunters arriving of any rewards. I know this causes player angst and, whilst I rarely miss out, I can understand the gaming frustration it causes. Just wondering if it might be possible to place a timer on hunt mobs (3 min for A & B, 5 min for S) that is set by the 1st person to spot it and to make it invulnerable for that period so to avoid the early pullers and allow sufficient time for people to attend?

A lot of people use this which is not super accurate mind you but basically most hunts have a timer that peeps have a general understanding of and so when someone kills a hunt they record it there and the timer resets. Or that's how I've been to understand it. You can modify it to show your server by putting the name of your server instead of whatever is there

op is complaining about early pulling. Which doesn't exist.

How about no. There is no such thing as early pulling and people need to get there in time to participate or get over it. If they get there and stand around forever and someone else comes along and pulls it because they were too busy twiddling their thumbs that's their own fault. Hunts are first come first serve open world content as in first person to attack. We don't need anyone being able to lock anything. It's bad enough people reset hunts already.

And in this case the op was requesting that the first come is allowed to set the time for when serving is allowed. It's not that different of a concept.

Reminds me of Yoshi's response to players asking about Eos (or maybe it was Egi?) getting knocked back and an auto pathfinder back to the player. His response being Do your job and git gud.

A friend and I will often take on A ranks just cause we can. Is it an early pull if the thing just so happens to spawn right next to me or aggros cause it's directly in the area of a quest NPC? I think not. There is no early pull factor on general mobs, and I find that Hunt targets are the same. Seek and destroy. Not seek, sit for half an hour with a thumb up your butt because someone cries over being late.

B ranks respawn after a few second and are solo content. There's no reason to include them in this request.

Absolutely not, as daiki kiyoshi said there's no such thing as early pulling. Who gets to decide if a hunt is pulled early? How long should we wait? nobody gets to decide that. I got called an early puller after waiting exactly 11 minutes in sea of clouds for people to get to the far side of the map for sistuil or whatever its name is and even asked is anyone otw, no answer, but someone came as i pulled and then i got called an earlier puller and cussed out over /sh, wtf? I reported them and got news from people in their FC that they got suspended for 24 hours lol.

No, only entitled children refer to it as early pulling. Adults accept the fact that they weren't there when it was pulled (a.k.a late) and either move on and do something else or join a hunt party and actively look for a hunt mark or join/create a hunt linkshell.

Edit - now that i think about it, the only instance of 'early pulling' is if someone has specifically said they were on their way and someone pulls anyway. The person doing that will most likely get blacklisted by everyone there and if they carry on, they'll end up pissing the whole server off. That's their punishment.
