I think the forced objectives were a good direction, but everything else past that seems worse than old diadem.

The lockbox system isn't very rewarding, all you get is materia IV and brass spoils with a very very low chance to get i265 gear that most likely wont be for your class and could have poor stats.

The NM fates don't seem to spawn very often.

Fates have a very short duration so you're always risking not clearing them in time.

Unlike what they said, there's no exploration being rewarded, you just stick to a zone and do fates until a NM fate spawns

The emergency mission seems like a party can easily grief and wipe the whole map.

Several fates have a weird aggro system, if you try to dodge an aoe all your recorded enmity is dropped.

Overall wasn't a very engaging experience. I'm afraid of what's in store for Eureka
