What to do on level 60? Help an old player!

Greetings,

I have been playing FFXIV since 2013 and I love the game so far, I haven't missed any single patch but sometimes I take breaks between weeks/months.

My real issue is that I lack of originality. I know right now there TONS and TONS of content to do but every single day I do the same over and over.

1) Log in
2) Do roulettes (Expert -> Level 60 > Level 50 > Trial )
3) Farm the new raid
4) Weekly cap tomes for set/weapons/accesories
5) Log off

I leveled up a Botanist months ago (like a year ) and I still haven't doing the last quest on level 60.

I don't have craft job yet ( Yes believe it )
I don't find any single decent FC in Balmung to run Content (Extreme modes/ Statics etc)
I got stuck in T9 after years and I'm afraid of queue up because people might kick me off because " WTF why should have done this in 2014"
I don't know if Hunts/Diadem/Palace of Death worth the time or something.

You aren't an old player unless you level matches your age (speaking from experience).

I'd finish up leveling your Botanist. It's grind in some ways but it isn't too hard to get your gear up to ilvl 200. If you decide to work on the Anima weapon it will let you get tokens you can use to buy the crystal sand needed to upgrade the weapon faster than the other methods.

That's it. That's the shallow end game of final fantasy xiv.

An endless treadmill of tomestone. Grind grind grind, spend it all on gear, only to have it all outdated and useless soon enough. Then they give you another, new tome treadmill to run on. Please look forward to it.
