An idea for item disbtribution to (maybe) please everyone

    Hello everyone,

So, a new Diadem is out, and with it...lots of rage, salt and every other means of complaining. I understand that, even if I'm not particularly bothered by that choice...
But it made me think. Is it possible to do content differentely so that no effort is wasted ?

And I think it is...very easily, in fact. The idea is that different content should not reward the same kind of items.

So, you have raids. Raiders don't like that you can obtain similar ilvl from elsewhere. So, make raids the only content that drop the highest armors.
Then you have trials. They should not reward the same as raids, or raids would be useless. So, make them drop accessories.
And then you have other content like Deep Dungeon, and, recently, Diadem. Make them only drop weapons.

This way, you wouldn't have the issue of having only one meaningful content, while still keeping all efforts relevant.

What about dungeons ? They should only be a stepping stone for the above content. They can reward every type of items, but none of them would be the best.

For Tomestones, my personal feeling would be that capped tomestones should disappear, to give better incentive to do actual content instead of only doing roulettes over and over (While still keeping uncapped tomestones as a non-RNG based stepping stone). But, if we keep them, then the items needed to upgrade tome gear would be non-RGN rewards from the content that drop the corresponding gear. So, armor tokens in savage raid, accessories token in trials and weapon tokens in additionnal content.

    What do you think ?
