If the formula is still the same during stormblood will you still be playing or leave

Let's be realistic aside from the hype of Stormblood, we will all buy the game, it will be fun for a few months (hopefully) then chances are we will be back to the hamsterwheel of beeing burned out by doing the same things over and over and over again from what has been presented so far.

Quality of life improvements are fine but how much will it help the actual content of the game where most of the stuff is lacking.

If stormblood continues to offer nothing more but empty maps when all your jobs are at 70 will you still play?

Weekly caps on tomes repeating exactly everything we have now, will you still play?

Gears becoming useless every 3-6 months and everyone can obtain an Ilvl close to what you worked so hard to get, will you still play?

Dungeons/content continue to be a faceroll pretty much through the entire expansion like it is now aside from savage content, will you still play?

Nerfing content after a while punishing players over and over again that worked so hard to grind stuff for relics so everyone else can catch up, will you still play?

Staying. This isn't new to this genre, and the game isn't going to change. Its literally just expanding what we already have, and I like what we already have. That's why I'm playing it and pay for it every month.

If you don't want to play the same game you've been playing thus far, buying and playing the expansion isn't going to help you. You would be better off just playing a different game altogether.

Agreed. It's an MMO so you can't have New things every week or month. There Will always have a moment where you have done everything and just need to farm to get the top gear. IMO If you want changes and not doing the same thing for long, better play offline games that have beginning and ending.

People who don't like the current system already left during 3.1-3.2. The maps are still used for gathering, hunting, fates, treasure maps, and beast tribes. I would not call it empty in my view.

People who don't like this system already left during Heavenward 3.0-3.2. The Dev. Team are all for this system, but they added new horizontal systems so you do not have to grind tomes. Hunts, raids, PVP, Deep Dungeon, Diadem2, 24 mans, and crafting/gathering are the alternatives.

Gear will eventually be deemed "glamour". Adding new content in with no reward will be more damaging. Catch up gear is also distinctly different. 24 mans do not look like token armor and token armor does not look like raid armor.

It is not a faceroll. When you first start it is challenging to beat these mobs, dungeons, or raids because of gear and inexperience. There are a few players who are very skillful who can blow through that content, but most of them already are experience raiders and have friends to do this content. Eventually we get better and learn about boss X that we know their weaknesses and tactics. It becomes easy with time and practice.

Yoshi P. Stated that he will not be nerfing the content in the recent interview. His quote was, "be careful on what you wish for."

Personally, I'll be staying: I really don't care much about stats, they're just a means to an end. I don't care about other people's achievements or how hard they have to work either - I'm not that petty.

The things that might end up making me quit one day are the trinity design, the cash shop expansion and the horrible alt-character support. Maybe social drama as well. I keep getting frustrated by those. The rest... *shrug*

The endgame model doesn't bother me particularly much. What's more likely to drive me away are the same things that pushed me away last time: lack of interest in improving housing and glamour systems, continued expansion of the cash shop, and related issues. I was drawn back in on the appeal of AST, but it remains to be seen how long that will last.

Agreed. Nothing like asking in shout while at Idyllshire for someone to "link the SCH book" (obviously meaning the new Lux) and getting every other book linked in existence, then specifically asking for the "new Lux" and getting every other Lux but the SCH book and even items not related.
