Expected Cosplay for RDM and SAM in 4.0?

So what are the most likely Character Cosplay you expect to see in 4.0 once Red Mage and Samurai is released in 4.0?


For me I expect a lot of William Adams (Nioh), Auron, Kenshin, and Adam(From RWBY) cosplays for Samurai.

As for Red Mage expect to see Weiss (RWBY) and Classic Red Mage.

(PS William Adams is expect the most because he been getting a lot of attention since Nioh release. He is even already making another appearance in koei's successor to Warrior Orochi series called Musou Stars and will be the only character in the game to speak English in the JP version and in JP Voice option.)

I am refering to Character in the game but I'll adjusted the question a bit.

It should not be surprise for players to cosplay their own characters considering plenty of players do so now.

Don't forget Mugen from Samurai Champloo, perhaps Zoro from One Piece or <shinigami here> from Bleach.

I'm hoping to coordinate with a friend and be the Vergil to his Dante at some point.

Depending on some weapon models, i could see some jedi/sith red mages, probably a lot of SA:O Asuna as well. Don't think there are as many prominent rapier wielders in the fanbase as there are katana wielders though.

As someone with a slight weeb streak, i dread what the samurai is going to do for weebs everywhere, it will be utter hell. I also fully expect the samurai to end up as the new edgelord as well.

I'd probably dress my character up like Weiss if I were female definitely, but in this case i'll just opt for the traditional red mage look lol

Ya katana has been a popular weapon of choice involving Fantasy game made in japan along with plenty of Main Character's weapon of choice in Animes.

Though I always liked the Katana in RPG games due to it being a light sword type weapon made more for speed combat. Never fancied the slow sword combat styles thus why my first choice in RPGs, if they have avaliable as a option, is the fast attacking Sword Jobs over the other Jobs. If there are no fast attack type sword jobs then I normally stick to the next best thing which is usually just the basic Rogue/Thief Jobs.

As for Rapier Wielders, ya you'll have to look a bit more to find a Rapier user to base on but some idea could be Takatora Todo from Samurai Warriors.



Then there is Sima Shi from Dynasty Warriors
